Goal: Design of the web-based platform that connects advertisers with streamers.
Responsibilities: Research, Branding, Wireframe, Prototype and Design.
Team (2 people): a lead developer and me leading the design.

OUR PROCESS
Following the Design Thinking process, I came up with a plan for
Understand, Design and Implement.
Understand
Understand advertisers and streamers, discover their pain-points, and get insights.
Research: Over the first four months, I focused on analyzing the current market, reviewing competitors, and conducting interviews with Streamers and Advertisers.
This research helped me to understand their needs and validate some of our assumptions.
During the interviews with influencers, I heard phrases like "now my producer is going to be able to deal with more important issues", "how nice to be able to have control over the advertising we show", "with this we no longer lose a banner in our mail" and so on.
During the interviews with advertisers, I also found that usually, they don't have access to a designer.
Interpret: I summarized the gathered knowledge about the users into personas, and identified pain-points at each stage.
In addition to validating our assumptions we discovered that…
Advertisers needs to:
- Be able to design their own banners without a designer.
- Schedule promotions on important dates.
Streamers needs to:
- Be able to limit the banners of an advertiser for each day.
- Simple instructions to connect our platform with each software they use to make their productions, the most common are: StreamYard, Wirecast, and OBS.
Re-Defining the problem
We conclude that we need to empower streamers to establish the value they want per ad, based on the power to convince the audience and the trust relationship with the advertisers.
For advertisers we need to enable them to create personalized ads online and publish them with the streamers they want without having knowledge of design or marketing.
Design
Ideate and prototype solutions to be validated.
With the problem re-define we set the goals to deliver the MVP
First: Design our logo and a very basic design guidelines.
Then: Design a web-based platform for advertisers to design and buy ads.
Prototype & Validate
I start designing high-fidelity mockups to test with streamers and advertisers.
Implement
After incorporating the feedback from the streamers and advertisers, I began to design the final interfaces to deliver to the front-end developer.
Conclusion
Mesure: We set some basics analytics and launch the website with 3 streamers. For one of them, Youtube’s revenue increase by 16x in 2 months.
The key to this project's success was to empathize and iterate very quickly with streamers and advertisers to solve their needs.
After 1 year, Admarket.tv onboards 23 Streamers and increase by 10x the banners sales.
